Charity Update November 2021

Charity Update November 2021

Sales of our new Rosey and Josie puppets have been slow but steady over the last month. I'm hoping that things pick up once Jasper and the Pubbet Minis are ready for shipping in mid December and early January!

Below is a summary of the charity contributions made from profit generated between 15 October and 15 November 2021.

The school program has been PACKED recently, with standing room only during many of the free classes that Kim delivers to local students.

You can see a video here showing how busy the school project is! https://web.facebook.com/amom.ny.50/videos/285389953510494/

Our focus in the months ahead is improving the school project building, with the long-term goal of building a completely new school centre that can comfortably accommodate more students.

The charity centre has also continued running the farm, poultry farm and dog shelter which also provides income for the work they do.

For November 2021 we donated $85 which will be used to cover power, water and other general expenses for the centre.

David and Noy are busy planning a big Christmas food drive for later this month.

For November 2021 we sent USD$90  to their gofundme link

Pubbets has donated money to help pay for the school lunch program. The vegetables are grown on the school property by the teacher and students, and our donation helps to buy things like noodles, rice, sauces and herbs.

I have to admit these kids cook better than me! What an awesome project to run alongside their regular classes. We will continue to support these happy students in the months and years ahead.

This is real 'hands on' teaching and the kids are learning important life skills. I think it would be great to have similar programs in schools all over the world.

Pubbets has donated $100 this month which will be used to buy sauces, noodles and other kitchen supplies for the lunch program.

Our charity Pubbets haven't arrived yet, but Margaret told me that she's been following the tracking waiting for them to show up!

I will visit their centre and give some puppetry training to the staff and take some Christmas gifts for their kindy students as soon as the puppets get here.

We got an update on our sponsored child, Khongkwan and she has come a long way since starting the kindy classes.

We are happy to support Khongkwan and plan to sponsor more students in the future.

Pubbets donated $200 which was used to buy school supplies, medicine and food for the many people that this charity supports.

The school supplies went to local children from the Aeta tribe. These are indigenous people that suffer from poverty as well as discrimination. Seeing them being able to learn and get an education is a great step to help them have a better chance in life.

They sent some photos to say thank you and I think you'll agree that this is a great charity to continue supporting.

I have a daughter and can't imagine the hardship that these families are going through supporting their kids with terminal or life threatening illnesses. Pubbets will continue to help where we can with this charity.

Conclusion

We have a series of charity auctions planned throughout December where you'll have a chance to buy custom puppets, Pubbet samples and other goodies.

Please like our Facebook here for the latest updates!

Thank you to everyone who has bought a Pubbet puppet or any of our other products. 10% of all profit goes to our charity work and we're making real and positive changes in the lives of so many disadvantaged kids.
